EducateOne (EO) seeks to initiate positive change in the world through education, one student at a time. We do this by helping to provide personal sponsorships for higher education to students in countries of poverty.

EducateOne hosts various events to raise awareness and funds for Hellen, Juliana, and Sunday's education. These are open to everyone, so come show your support while having a good time!
Following the successful live art benefit thrown at the Space Gallery, we are currently planning another similar event as well as a garage sale. Stay tuned.

EducateOne raised $700 at the benefit party thrown at the Space Gallery last Saturday, featuring live artists Andy Gouveia, Pellet, and Peter Green. Check out photos from the event here, c/o Andy.
We now only need ~$500 more by July to send Hellen, Juliana, and Sunday to their first years of school! So we're especially happy to welcome anyone willing to offer their talents, support, or feedback to EducateOne. Let us know if you would like to get involved! All levels of commitment welcome: from one-time volunteers to members of the Board.
Specific areas include (but are not limited to) web design, programming, film editing, fundraising, PR/outreach, event planning, business/legal, and development of the organization.

EO is excited to welcome Justine Wang, Catherine Vasper, Michelle Ma, and Jessica Huang to the team! With our combined efforts, EO has thus far been able to fundraise $1700!
EO would like to thank the lovely ladies of Kappa Gamma Delta, a pre-medical sorority at UC Santa Cruz, for hosting its Woodstock's Pizza Party in support of EO. Since one of KGD's missions is to help empower women in the field of medicine, a portion of the proceeds were donated to Hellen's EducateOne sponsorship.
EO has thus far raised $1457, thanks to several generous supporters and our recent benefit held at the Space Gallery!
Although last minute, the EducateOne benefit last night was a smashing success! A great space, engaging artwork, ambient music, and most of all - great company - made the night. Much thanks goes to Ray (Space Gallery owner in San Francisco), Anne (refreshments), Jessica and Catherine (creative print material), Ousi (music), the many Facebook admins (PR support), and everyone who attended and supported us!
